Wolfsblut VetLine GASTROINTESTINAL is a complete dietary food for adult dogs for the alleviation of intestinal absorption disorders, to compensate for insufficient digestion or in cases of chronic pancreatic insufficiency (pancreatitis). If a dog suffers from diarrhea and vomiting, various causes may be considered. Most often, changes in diet, a disturbed intestinal flora, parasites, fungi or diseases of the stomach, intestines or pancreas are responsible. If diarrhea and vomiting persist for several days, important minerals are lost and the body enters a state of deficiency. In the case of an absorption disorder, the dog has difficulty adequately digesting the food, for example due to an inflammation of the intestinal lining. Wolfsblut VetLine GASTROINTESTINAL is a complete dietary food adapted to the needs of your dog in case of insufficient digestion and disturbed pancreatic function. The diet food contains easily digestible duck meat, which relieves the stomach and intestines. Due to its low-fat content, it can also be used for pancreatic insufficiency. Mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) stabilize the intestinal barrier; a regular intake of MOS helps to keep the bacterial colonization of the intestine in balance. Since dehydration is a side effect of diarrhea and vomiting, the electrolytes contained in the food help the animal absorb the missing minerals. The prebiotics help to strengthen the natural intestinal flora and thus especially digestion in the large intestine. In addition, a healthy intestinal flora helps the dog to better ward off future gastrointestinal infections. Essential fatty acids inhibit inflammatory reactions and thereby support pancreatic function. The delicious recipe of duck and sweet potatoes promotes food intake and ensures nutrient supply. For intestinal absorption disorders: up to 12 weeks, to compensate for insufficient digestion: 3-12 weeks. Chronic pancreatic insufficiency may require lifelong feeding. Please note that complete dietary foods can only support veterinary treatment, but not replace it. It is recommended to seek veterinary advice before use and before extending the feeding period. The diet food should be given as a complete food according to the feeding recommendation, whereby the stated amounts should be adjusted to the animal's age, breed and activity. The daily food amount should be divided into two or more meals per day. Provide water for free intake.
