VetLine WEIGHT MANAGEMENT / Supports weight reduction
Dietetic complete feed for adult dogs with turkey and sweet potatoes to support weight reduction
Wolfsblut VetLine WEIGHT MANAGEMENT is a dietetic complete feed for adult dogs for the reduction of overweight and regulation of glucose supply in diabetes mellitus. Obesity in dogs can be determined, for example, by no longer feeling the ribs when petting and the waist no longer being visible. Obesity can lead to various diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, joint problems due to joint overload, and also diabetes mellitus. It is important that the body does not suffer from deficiencies during a reduction diet and that muscle mass is maintained.
Wolfsblut VetLine WEIGHT MANAGEMENT is a special dietetic complete feed that is adapted to the needs of dogs with obesity and diabetes mellitus. The food contains a high protein content in combination with a low fat and energy content. L-carnitine also ensures fat breakdown while maintaining muscle mass. The increased fiber content ensures a long-lasting feeling of satiety. Overweight dogs put excessive strain on their joints. Glucosamine and chondroitin contribute to a healthy joint metabolism and thus help maintain joint function. In addition, the food is tailored to the needs of diabetic dogs, as carbohydrates that cause a rapid glucose release have been kept as low as possible. This naturally regulates the glucose supply.

Recommended feeding period for weight loss until desired body weight is reached and, if necessary, thereafter for maintaining desired body weight for glucose regulation, initially up to 6 months. For effective weight loss or maintenance of ideal weight, the recommended daily energy intake should not be exceeded. Dietetic complete feeds can only support veterinary treatment and not replace it. Therefore, we recommend seeking veterinary advice before feeding or before extending the feeding period. The indicated amount should only be used as a guide. The feeding amount should be adjusted to the individual needs of your dog. Every dog is different, and the optimal feeding amount varies considerably due to numerous factors such as age, gender, activity, metabolism, and environment. Always provide fresh drinking water.
